Jacy Meyer - Prague based freelance journalist


Jacy Meyer is a freelance journalist living in Prague. Previously from Arizona, she has a degree in Broadcast Communications and spent many years in community relations for a number of organizations, including retail and non-profit. Her previous news writing stints have included a national newswire service and two television stations. Since moving to Prague in 2004, she has contributed to a number of local publications, including The Prague Post; Expats.cz and Prague Monitor Magazine. She is the editor of Prague In Your Pocket; Content Manager for Expats.cz and past editor of The Prague Post’s lifestyle magazine, Fast Lane. Jacy prefers having a wide range of subjects to muse over and lists travel, culture, shopping, health, education, interiors and architecture amongst her credits. Other publications include contributions to the guidebook Time Out Prague, Sunday Times Travel Magazine and the Christian Science Monitor. She also wrote the Insider’s Guide to Prague for Australian website Ninemsn as well as the Prague hotel reviews for EuroCheapo.
